LYRICS:

(I bought a toothbrush)

I bought a toothbrush, some toothpaste, a flannel for my face
Pajamas, a hairbrush, new shoes and a case
I said to my reflection, let's get out of this place
Passed the church and the steeple, the laundry on the hill
Billboards and the buildings, memories of it still keep calling and calling
But forget it all, I know I will

Tempted by the fruit of another, tempted but the truth is discovered
What's been going on, now that you have gone
There's no other, tempted by the fruit of another
Tempted but the truth is discovered

I'm at the car park (ooh) the airport, the baggage carousel (Ooh ooh ooh)
(Ooh ooh ooh) (The people keep on grabbing)
(Ooh ooh ooh) (And wishing I was well)
(Ooh ooh ooh) I said, it's no occasion (Ooh ooh ooh) (it's no story I can tell)
At my bedside, empty pocket, a foot without a sock
(Do, do, do-do, do, do, do, do-do, do)
Your body gets much closer, I fumble for the clock
(Do, do, do-do, do, do, do, do-do, do)
Alarmed by the seduction (Do, do, do-do, do, do, do, do-do, do)
I wished that it would stop (Do, do, do-do, do, do, do, do-do, do)

(Ooh) Tempted by the fruit of another (ooh ooh ooh)
(Ooh) Tempted but the truth is discovered (ooh ooh ooh)
What's been going on, now that you have gone?
There's no other (ooh, ooh ooh ooh) tempted by the fruit of another
(Ooh) Tempted but the truth is discovered (ooh ooh ooh)

I bought a novel, some perfume, a fortune all for you
(Do, do, do-do, do, do, do, do-do, do)
But it's not my conscience that hates to be untrue
(Do, do, do-do, do, do, do, do-do, do)
I asked of my reflection, tell me what is there to do
(Do, do, do-do, do, do, do, do-do, do, do, do, do, do, do)

(Ooh) Tempted by the fruit of another (ooh ooh ooh)
(Ooh) Tempted but the truth is discovered (ooh ooh ooh)
What's been going on, now that you have gone?
There's no other (ooh, ooh ooh ooh) tempted by the fruit of another
(Ooh) Tempted but the truth is discovered (ooh ooh ooh)
Hah! (Ooh) Tempted by the fruit of another (ooh ooh ooh)
[What's been going on?]
(Ooh) Tempted but the truth is discovered (ooh ooh ooh)
[What's been going on?]
(Ooh) Tempted by the fruit of another (ooh ooh ooh)
[What's been going on?]
(Ooh) Tempted but the truth is discovered (ooh ooh ooh)
[What's been going on?]

LYRICS:

I could be discontent and chase the rainbows end
I might win much more but lose all that is mine
I could be a lot but I know I'm not
I'm content just with the riches that you bring
I might shoot to win and commit the sin
Of wanting more than I've already got
I could runaway but I'd rather stay
In the warmth of your smile lighting up my day
(the one that makes me say, heh)

'Cause you're the best thing that ever happened to me or my world
You're the best thing that ever happened - so don't go away

I might be a king and steal my peoples things
But I don't go for that power crazy way
All that I could rule but I don't check for fools
All that I need is to be left to live my way
(say listen what I say)

I could chase around for nothing to be found
But why look for something that is never there
I may get it wrong sometimes but I'll come back in style
For I realise your love means more than anything
(the song you make me sing - yeah)

LYRICS:

Something's happening, don't speak to soon
Told the boss off and made my move,
got nowhere to go

Son of Sam, son of the shining path, the clouded mind
The couple killer each and every time

I'm not uncomfortable feeling weird
Lonely leared, options disappear,
but I know what to do

Son of Sam, son of a doctor's touch, a nurse's love
Acting under orders from above

King for a day

Son of Sam, son of the shining path, the clouded mind
The couple killer running out of time

Shiva opens her arms now
To make sure I don't get too far
I may talk in my sleep tonight 'cos I don't know what I am
I'm a little like you, more like Son of Sam
